This coyote is “erythristic” which is a rare genetic color mutation giving him a strawberry blonde coat color. Colors in erythristic coyotes can differ and sometimes be more red than blonde. This is the first coyote pelt I’ve ever seen with this color, he’s truly unique, and I’m unsure if I’ll ever have the opportunity to find another to mount.
